3D Printing is a rapidly evolving technology that promises to revolutionize the manufacturing industry! With new materials and new printing processes being introduced all the time, the capabilities are continually growing.
For automotive restoration and custom components there are many choices of materials including plastics, composites (think carbon fiber) and metals including stainless steel, titanium, inconel, aluminum and more.
We have established relationships with several printing providers and will work with you to determine the best choice of material for your project.
In some cases it may be more cost effective to produce a part using more “traditional” manufacturing techniques such as casting or CNC machining. When this is the case, we will work with you to select the best solution for your project.
Costs for the part(s) will vary depending on type of material selected, the printing process used and the material density of the part. In addition, most components will require some level of post production finishing which could include machine work, polishing, thread cutting and plating.
